Memorial Day Weekend Washed Out

05/31/2021, 8:30pm EDT

Mother nature didn't want any of the teams in the WRWBL to play games this weekend as all 6 games were washed out.

As of this writing, only the Tigers and Finest games had been rescheduled, with the first game being played Tuesday 6/1 at Roberto Clemente. Game 2 of that doubleheader is now going to be played on 6/24 at Peekskill Stadium.

Stay tuned for the rest of the rescheduled games.

After the 2020 season was lost due to COVID-19, the WRWBL returns on May 17th with a matchup featuring the 2019 runner-up, NY Finest, and the league's newest member, New York Boldest.

The opener will be played at Roberto Clemente State Park at 7:30pm, and will be the first of 2 games there this week.  The Finest will be back in action on Thursday night vs the NYC Thunderdogs.

Next week will see the first full week of games, including a full weekend of games over Memorial Day Weekend.

The full schedule will be uploaded this week.
