Westchester Rockland Wood Bat League

The New City Outlaws swept the Rockland Cavaliers and the Somers Cyclones swept the NYC Thunderdogs to advance to a best of 3 semi final matchup beginning this Wednesday 8/5 at Clarkstown South!  Somers has displayed some of the strongest pitching all summer, leading the WRWBL with a 2.44 Team ERA.  The Outlaws are right behind them with a 2.48 ERA.  The Outlaws led the league in batting average (.312) and runs scored (229).

Meanwhile, the remaining two quarter final matchups are going to a Game 3 on Tuesday night!  The Tides won an 18-15 game over the Tigers with their backs against the wall, while the TSC beat the Pats 4-1 in their second game.  The winning teams on Tuesday night advance to the semi's, while the loser goes home!
