This morning the WRWBL released their weekly award winners for Week 3. Four players from four different teams were selected, with three of them being pitchers.

Chris Archer was the driving force in leading Gap2Gap's unprecedented upset victory against the defending champion New York Bears. Despite the offense collecting only 1 hit all day, it was the lights out pitching of Archer that helped secure the win. The SUNY Poly standout tossed a complete game shutout while allowing 6 hits and striking out 7.

Nolan Sniffen dug deep to help the Shore Road Sluggers secure their first of the season against the 6-time champion New City Outlaws. The Sage College hurler tossed a complete game performance, allowing 3 runs and striking out 9.

Greg Esposito continues to build his Cy Young resume with his consistently dominant performances on the bump. The Manhattanville right hander tossed his 2nd complete game victory of the season, allowing 2 runs and striking out 9 in the Tigers victory over Gap2Gap.

Mauro DeCillis was the driving force for the Bears offensively this past week. The Haverford College standout infielder collected 4 hits, including a double, 6 runs scored, 4 RBI and 5 stolen bases across three key victories against the Somers Cyclones.
