The Most Valuable Player for 2023 is Brandon Torres from the New York Finest!

A year removed from former teammate Anthony Luciano’s MVP campaign; Brandon Torres put together an even more dominant season for the New York Finest.

The former Oneonta standout was an offensive juggernaut for the NYPD’s powerful lineup that racked up a league best 211 runs scored. Torres was atop the league’s leaderboards in practically all major offensive categories.

He led the league with a .514 batting average, beating out the next player by 70 points. He led the league in RBI’s with 30, Slugging Percentage with a .900 SLG, and On Base Percentage with a .622 OBP. He also tied for the league lead in both hits (36) and home runs (7).

It’s not often a player keeps up such a high level of consistency all season long. Only the league’s elite players are usually able to pull it off. Brandon Torres certainly fits the standard as the most valuable player in the league.
