The Manager of the Year for 2023 is Joe DiRocco from the New City Outlaws!

After a subpar 2022 campaign that saw his Outlaws squad get bounced in the first round of playoffs, DiRocco completely flipped the script in 2023.

Entering the season in the bottom half of the league power rankings, the Outlaws shattered all expectations. With a slew of newcomers and a motivated group of returners, the Outlaws rallied behind DiRocco all season long.

The Outlaws finished the regular season as the #1 team in the league. They posted a 19-7 overall record, with a league leading 111 runs allowed!

In the 2023 playoffs, the Outlaws took down the Cyclones in the semifinals and came back from a 1-0 series deficit to defeat the defending champion New York Finest and claim their 6th WRWBL title!
