The Rookie of the Year for 2022 is T.J. Beninati from the New City Outlaws!

Beninati becomes only the 2nd player in Outlaws history to win the Rookie of the Year, with the last player being Jeremy Lukasiewicz in 2017.

The Salem State product burst onto the scene this year as both the Outlaws top bat in the lineup, and one of their top defensive pieces in the field.

Beninati found himself high atop the league leaderboards in a multitude of offensive categories. He led the league in Runs with 22. He was tied for the league lead in Doubles with 11. He placed 2nd in the league for Home Runs (3), Total Bases (51), and Hits (31).

In the field, Beninati was reliable as they come as he only committed 3 errors all year.
