Manager Jon Pollock enters the 2022 season with one goal in mind, securing championship #1.

The Somers Cyclones have been a model of consistency year in and year out. Last year, the Clones won 16 games en route to a third place finish overall in the league standings.

Despite a few key losses, most notably defensive stalwart Kevin Nolan and speedy outfielder Javaun Smith, the Clones will return a majority of their roster for the 2022 season.

Arguably a Top 3 player in the league, Charlie Galasso returns once again to drive an offensive unit that scored 181 runs in 28 games last season. The former MVP will look to build on his absurdly productive 2021 season, in which he posted a .462 average with 43 hits, 3 home runs and 29 RBI’s. Also making a return to the Clones are their top two arms from last year, Cy Young finalist Justin Schachter and Jon Pollock. The Clones will be happy to welcome back the WRWBL’s ROY last season, Thomas Parisi, as his bat and defense in the outfield will surely be put on display all season long.

A slew of newcomers make their way to the Clones roster for the 2022 season, and they are some of the areas best talent around. Lucas Orlovitz, Aiden Hicks, Anthony Arrichiello, and Brett Homer will all make their WRWBL debuts this season and will look to make it back to back years with a Cyclone winning ROY.

The Clones have championship aspirations and we are certain they will be ready to make a deep run come August. This is one of the best squads in the league and we can’t wait to see them take the field in 2022!
