During this past offseason the Tigers lost a longtime member of their organization; Leo Bravo. Bravo was the Tigers catcher from 2012-2016. The St. Raymond's and Dominican College prospect joined the Tigers following his senior season at St. Raymond's. As a young 18yr-old kid he quickly became a favorite among his veteran teammates who quickly were drawn to his infectious personality and consistent play.
Bravo was selected to several WRWBL All-Star games and was known as one of the best catchers around the league. He was a superb defender but at the plate is where he made a name for himself. Bravo was always a threat and would always be a tough out as he had a knack for putting the ball in play and getting on base. Leo brought such a great personality to the team and always had a strong following among his family especially his sister.
Leo will forever be missed by his friends, and teammates. Please stay tuned as the Tigers plan to honor Leo at a game during the 2019 season.
